Dear Members of Singapore Pickleball,

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Singapore Pickleball will be held on 7 November 2024, 7.30 p.m. at Grande Vista Function Room, Level 2. An EOGM was conducted on 26 September 2024, to approve ROS changes to the constitution. One of the key items on the AGM agenda will be the election of new board members. We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to come forward and stand for election as board members. This is a wonderful opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our association, support the pickleball community, and help shape the future of the sport in Singapore.

If you have a passion for pickleball and a desire to make a difference, we encourage you to step up and serve. Your involvement can help us achieve new heights and ensure that our association continues to thrive. Areas where you can contribute include Tournament, Officiating, Media & Sponsorship, Programming, Facilities, High Performance Development, etc.

For more details on how to volunteer and the nomination/election process, please contact Ee Kiong, any of our current board members or myself.

Thank you for your continued support and participation.

Sincerely,
Chong Siew Tan President Singapore Pickleball

An EOGM was convened on the 3rd May 2024 to approve the adoption of SPA new constitution, which is written with close adherence to SportSG guidelines. The EOGM was attended by 9 voting members, together with other affiliate members and individual members. After clarification and a Q&A session, a vote was conducted and all 9 members voted for the resolution to be carried. The new constitution will be adopted after formal submission to SportSG and the Registry of Societies.
Due to work and family commitments, Jerome Yap has resigned from SPA as a committee member and Tournament & Officiating Committee member. We would like to take this opportunity to thank him for his past contributions.

This chapter marks an important one for us as we embark on a new journey in developing the sport in Singapore and our global identity, with 5 focus pillars:

Unity in community
Integrity in play
Resilience in people
Wellness as a person
Sustainability in practice

Please stay tuned to find out more about our upcoming initiatives and changes to better support our growing community.

We are One Pickleball.
Singapore Pickleball takes a strict and unwavering stance on sports integrity and sportsmanship. In our recently concluded investigations and findings, four players in the Pesta Sukan Women’s Open Doubles were found to have attempted to manipulate the results of round robin matches and have been served with a one year ban.
We would like to remind everyone of our unwavering stance regarding integrity in sports and will not hesitate to take action against similar cases in future.
