Candidates should be individuals who:

• Have a genuine passion for the development of pickleball;

• Understand the roles, responsibilities and commitment that come with serving on the Association;

• Are prepared to contribute constructively to the governance and strategic direction of SPA as the National Sports Association;

• Demonstrate integrity, professionalism, teamwork and a willingness to work in the broader interests of the sport and its community;

• Are able to commit the necessary time and effort to fulfil their responsibilities; and

• Understand that elected office is a responsibility to the Association and its members, rather than simply a title or position.

We encourage members to consider candidates who can contribute experience, diverse perspectives, constructive leadership and a strong sense of responsibility to the Association.
