ABOUT
SINGAPORE PICKLEBALL
Pickleball was first introduced to Singapore in 1980s. With the sport growing in popularity, the Singapore Pickle-Ball Association (SPA) was founded in 1995. The Singapore Pickle-Ball Association (SPA) is the national governing body for the sport of pickleball and also a member of the International Federation of Pickleball (IFP) and the World Pickleball Federation (WPF).
Our mission is to promote the development and growth of pickleball in Singapore. Partnering with Sport Singapore and Peoples' Association, SPA has established many interest groups in community centres and sports halls that play the sport on a regular basis.
Today, this sport is gaining more popularity and traction in Singapore. Serving our pickleball community for the past 26 years, SPA has organised numerous try-outs, clinics and tournaments on a national level. We also support Sport Singapore "Sports for Life" programme to encourage all Singaporeans to get active and pick up an interest in sport.
In the year 2023, the Singapore Pickle-Ball Association is rebranded as Singapore Pickleball.
We believe pickleball is for everyone!
